PAM BRANDON is an experienced writer with a diverse background in newspaper and magazine journalism, and as a consulting publicist for select clients worldwide. And she understands deadlines. No project is too big or too small.

She is managing editor of Edible Orlando magazine, and a food columnist for the Palm Beach Post, the Orlando Sentinel and scottjosephorlando.com. Her freelance travel and features stories have appeared both online and in numerous local and national publications.

Her most recent book is Good Catch, Recipes & Stories Celebrating the Best of Florida’s Waters, (Fall 2014, University Press of Florida), which she co-authored with her daughter, Katie Farmand, and Orlando Sentinel food editor Heather McPherson. The three also co-authored award-winning Field to Feast, Recipes Celebrating Florida’s Farmers, Artisans, and Chefs (Fall 2012, University Press of Florida). She has written a dozen books for Disney Publishing, including the recently released Kitchen Magic With Mickey, and A Taste of Epcot, Festival Food From Around the Globe.

She also is the author of The Unofficial Guide to Florida and The Unofficial Guide to Florida With Kids, both published by Wiley Publishing Inc., and a consultant to other travel books, including Birnbaum’s official Disney guidebooks.
